Robot or robotic palletizing is something we supply also, we then get the robot itself from Yaskawa, it is common for all suppliers of robot palletizer solutions, that they get the robot from one of the many manufacturers of those and then manufacture the product gripper and all other equipment like conveyors etc. In addition to that we Ehcolo have also developed a touchscreen interface with a pattern setup program, which is very easy for operators to handle.
A robot is known as to be very accurate, and it is, but if we talk about bags which are soft, the bags do not know that, and that have given many customers unpleasant surprises, as the bags move in the gripper during transfer from pick-up point to lay-off point on pallet, making it necessary to make the pattern program with big tolerances avoiding a coming bag to be laid-off on an already laying bag, resulting in unwanted distances between the bags. As we can supply both robotic palletizing solutions and our own palletizer solutions, we can propose the right palletiser, which the company only supplying robot palletisers cannot.
Our state-of-the-art robotic palletizer or de-palletizer is from Yaskawa. And we Ehcolo design and manufacture the gripper and conveying systems for both product and pallets. NEW is our own developed touch screen for easy control and setting up of pallet patterns, no need for the pendant, so now extremely easy for operators to learn and use.
Our current customers/operators are extremely happy about this new development. It can palletize both bags and boxes with a capacity of up to 800 bags/boxes per hour with single bag handling, higher capacity with multi bag handling.
Our robot does not have, like all other robots also, the layer side and top pressing facilities as our model PM 800 and PM 900 palletisers, but does a decent job when bags are firm. As supplier of all types of palletizers as shown above, we have no strings regarding recommending the right type of palletizer for you.
A robotic palletizer automatically picks up bags or boxes and places them onto pallets in a predefined stacking pattern. Ehcolo uses industrial robots from Yaskawa and designs the grippers, conveyors and control interface to create a complete palletizing solution.
The price of a robotic palletizer depends on the required capacity, product dimensions, gripper design, conveyor systems and level of automation. Ehcolo provides tailored solutions based on your production requirements. Contact us for a quotation.
Robotic palletizers use a robot arm to pick and place products, while conventional palletizers typically form and stack complete layers. Robotic solutions are suitable for many applications involving firm bags and boxes. For softer bags, conventional palletizers with layer-pressing systems may provide more stable stacking.
Ehcolo’s robotic palletizers can handle up to 800 bags or boxes per hour with single-product handling. Higher capacities are possible with multiple-product handling, depending on the application.
Ehcolo develops grippers and conveying systems according to the products being handled. Our touchscreen interface allows operators to set up palletizing patterns without using the robot’s programming pendant.
Ehcolo has manufactured industrial palletizing equipment since 1989. We supply both robotic and conventional palletizers, allowing us to recommend a solution based on your actual product characteristics and production requirements rather than relying on one technology.
Robotic palletizing automates repetitive lifting and stacking tasks, reducing the need for manual product handling. This can improve working conditions and allow employees to focus on operating and supervising production equipment.
Ehcolo’s touchscreen control system is designed to make pallet pattern setup and daily operation straightforward. Operators can configure patterns through the touchscreen without using the robot pendant for routine pattern changes.
The return on investment depends on production volume, labour costs, operating hours, maintenance and the existing palletizing process. Ehcolo can help assess the technical requirements of your application as a basis for evaluating the investment.
